Auf dem Zubehörmarkt zeichnet sich derzeit ein Trend in Sachen Lightning-Kabel ab. Nachdem erst kürzlich die beiden Hersteller Anker und Belkin eigene, soper-haltbare Kabel auf den Markt gebracht haben, zieht mit Syncwire nun ein weiterer Anbieter nach und hat seinerseits eine neue Kabelreihe vorgestellt. Unter dem Namen "UNBREAKcable" halten die Lightning-Kabel nach Herstellerangaben eine Gewichtsbelastung von bis zu 125 Kilo aus und sollen mindestens 30.000 Biegungen um 90° aushalten können. Anders als andere Anbieter verzichtet Syncwire dabei allerdings auf ein geflochtenes Nylongewebe auf der Außenseite und verlegt die Robustheit ins Innere des Kabels. Sie sind zwar etwas steif wegen des Metallgefechts au\337en rum, aber Top.
