Ich nutze Outbank (kostenlos im AppStore) eigentlich seit es die App in einer ihrer ersten Versionen für das iPhone gibt. Entsprechend traurig war ich auch ein Stück weit, als im vergangenen Jahr bekannt wurde, dass die Entwickler Insolvenz anmelden mussten. Kurz darauf hat sich jedoch bekanntermaßen das Tarifvergleichsportal Verivox die Banking-App einverleibt und entwickelt sie seither auch dankenswerterweise konsequent weiter. Doch nicht nur Outbank gehört inzwischen zu Verivox, auch auf den Vertragskündigungdienst Aboalarm trifft dies zu. Mit der letzten Aktualisierung von Outbank Anfang der Woche wurden nun die beiden Podukte miteinander verknüpft. Ab sofort lassen sich somit nun auch Kündigungen von Abos und Verträgen direkt aus Outbank heraus initiieren.

Dabei macht sich Outbank die bereits seit einiger Zeit bestehende Funktion zunutze, eben diese Abos und Verträge anhand von wiederkehrenden Transaktionen zu erkennen. Genau hieran dockt nun die Aboalarm-Funktion an, wie Verivox auch in einer zugehörigen Pressemitteilung beschreibt. Ein schönes Beispiel dafür, wie sich Funktionen integrieren lassen und auch Übernahmen von kleineren Angeboten durch die Big Player zu einem Mehrwert für den Nutzer werden können.
