Was für ein Abschluss für UNSERE Nationalmannschaft. 3:1 gegen Portugal und damit Platz 3! Die Stimmung in Berlin war den ganzen Tag über fantastisch, überhaupt nichts zu merken von irgendeinem Wehmut über das Ausscheiden im Halbfinale. Stattdessen Vorfreude pur auf das Spiel um Platz 3, die morgige Party und das abschließende Finale. Das Spiel schauten wir uns stilecht mit Schnittchen und Sektchen in einer Lounge im Sony Center an. Tja, nobel geht die Welt zugrunde...

Nachdem in der ersten Halbzeit noch nicht viel passiert war, ging es in der zweiten Halbzeit richtig ab. Schweinsteiger zum ersten, Schweinsteiger zum Zweiten und Schweinsteiger zum Dritten. Drei Fernschüsse, drei Treffer, 3:0! Das Tor zum 3:1 störte da auch nicht wirklich jemanden mehr. Anschließend ging es dann ab zum Feiern auf die Fanmeile.
