Twitter kündigt versehentlich kostenpflichtige Variante "Twitter Blue" für € 2,99 im AppStore an

Kürzlich gab es bereits Vorabgerüchte zu einer kommenden kostenpflichtigen Variante von Twitter unter dem Namen "Twitter Blue", über die sich Poweruser verschiedene Zusatzfunktionen sichern können. So soll es für die zahlenden Nutzer einen neuen Bereich namens "Collections" geben, in dem sie ihre Lieblings-Tweets ablegen können, um sie später schneller wiederzufinden. Darüber hinaus wird es auch eine "Undo Tweets" Funktion geben, mit der sich ein abgesetzter Tweet für kurze Zeit zurückrufen lässt, ehe er tatsächlich gepostet wird. Die Zeitspanne soll dabei durch den Nutzer konfigurierbar sein.

Offiziell angekündigt hat Twitter die Option bislang nicht, allerdings hat man sich nun offenbar unabsichtlich vorab verplappert, denn "Twitter Blue" taucht inzwischen als In-App Kauf für (vermutlich monatlich) € 2,99 im AppStore auf, auch wenn sich dieser aktuell noch nicht erwerben lässt. Es kann nun aber davon ausgegangen werden, dass die Ankündigung und der Start von "Twitter Blue" nun nicht mehr lange auf sich warten lassen werden.
