Apple und Netflix bieten offenbar für neuen Film mit Jennifer Lawrence

Jennifer Lawrence ist sicherlich einer der größten weiblichen Hollywood-Stars. Und eventuell könnte sie demnächst auch in einem neuen Fim auf Apple TV+ zu sehen sein. Wie die Kollegen von Variety berichten, hat Apple nämlich Interesse an einem potenziellen Oscar-Gewinner-Film, in dem es um die Geschichte der ehemaligen Hollywood-Managerin Sue Mengers geht. Mengers galt von den 60er bis zu den 80er Jahren als "Superagentin" Hollywoods und vertrat in dieser Position unter anderem Stars wie Barbra Streisand und Burt Reynolds. Allerdings war sie auch bekannt für ihre überbordende Persönlichkeit. Noch hat der Film keinen offiziellen Titel, jedoch soll Lawrence die Hauptrolle übernehmen.

Ob der Film letzten Endes tatsächlich bei Apple TV+ landen wird, ist allerdings noch unsicher. So soll sich Apple aktuell in einem Bieterwettstreit mit dem Konkurrenten Netflix befinden, der den Preis für die Rechte bereits auf über 80 Millionen Dollar getrieben haben soll.
