Für weitere 10 Jahre: Keine Roaming-Gebühren im EU-Ausland

Der eine oder andere mag sich noch an die Zeit erinnern, in der man für die Nutzung von Mobilfunknetzen im Ausland sogenannte Roaming-Gebühren zahlen musste. Dies ist inzwischen innerhalb der EU nicht mehr der Fall und wird sich auch in den kommenden zehn Jahren nicht mehr ändern, wie die zuständigen Behörden nun mitgeteilt haben. In einer entsprechenden Pressemitteilung wurde die Übereinkunft hierzu zwischen den verschiedenen EU-Staaten und dem Europa-Parlament bekanntgegeben. Wie gewohnt umfasst die Befreiung von den Roaming-Gebühren sämtliche Telefonate, Kurznachrichten und natürlich auch die Datennutzung. Die neue Verordnung wird ab dem 01. Juli 2022 in Kraft treten und dann für weitere zehn Jahre gelten. Nicht mehr Teil der EU ist seit dem "Brexit" bekanntermaßen Großbritannien, was bedeutet, dass hier wieder Roaming-Gebühren fällig werden.

Die Schweizer Vertr\344ge haben nun gar nichts mit see Roaming abkommen zu tun. Das ist einfach policy der Telekom diese zu den EU L\344ndern zu z\344hlen. Sonst w\344ren andere Anbieter dazu ja nun auch verpflichtet.
