Apple veröffentlicht neue Betas von iOS/iPadOS 15.4, macOS 12.3, watchOS 8.5 und tvOS 15.4

Frei nach dem Motto nach dem Update ist vor dem Update, läuft inzwischen schon wieder die nächste Betaphase für Apples Betriebssysteme. So können registrierte Entwicklern inzwischen die vierten Vorabversionen von iOS/iPadOS 15.4, macOS Monterey 12.3, watchOS 8.5 und tvOS 15.4 von Apples Servern herunterladen. Speziell bei iOS 15.4 handelt es sich um ein größeres Update, welches neben der Möglichkeit, sein iPhone (12 und neuer) auch mit getragener Maske per Face ID zu entsperren auch die Unterstützung von Universal Control und diverse weitere Neuerungen mitbringt, die bereits aus der ersten Beta bekannt sind. Bei der zweiten Beta mit an Bord sind nun auch die offiziellen APIs für das früher am heutigen Tag angekündigte "Tap to Pay" und die für die USA angekündigte Möglichkeit, Ausweise und Führerscheine in der iOS Wallet-App zu hinterlegen.

Noch steht nicht fest, wann mit den finalen Versionen für alle Nutzer zu rechnen ist. Durchaus denkbar ist, dass es sich um die Versionen handelt, die Apple für sein 2022er Frühjahrs-Event vorbereitet. Auch Teilnehmer am Public Beta Programm dürften in Kürze Zugriff auf die neuen Betas erhalten.
