Leser vor Ort: Apple eröffnet seinen neuesten Retail Store im koreanischen Seoul

Vor einigen Tagen hatte Apple die Eröffnung seines neuesten Retail Stores im Stadteil Myeongdong der südkoreanischen Hauptstadt Seoul aangekündigt und auch bereits einige Hochglanzfotos der neuen Location veröffentlicht. Die Eröffnung fand am gestrigen Samstag statt und wie es der Zufall so will, war mit Michael auch einer meiner Leser gerade zu dieser Zeit beruflich in Seoul, hat der Eröffnung beigewohnt und mich mit einigen Fotos des Events versorgt, die ich nachfolgend gerne mit euch teile. Besucher der Eröffnung erhielten eine mit kleinen Präsenten gefüllte Box von Apple. Diverse Eleemente in dem neuen Store wurden von der traditionellen koreanischen Kunstrichtung Korean "Chaekgeori" inspiriert. Es ist Apples insgesamt 518. Retail Store weltweit und der dritte in Südkorea. Michael berichtet zu der Eröffnung:

Der Startschuss für das Store Opening war um 10:00. Unser Slot war dann um 12:30, da bereits nach einigen Minuten auf der Anmeldeseite die ersten Slots ausgebucht waren. Es war vor Ort sehr gut organisiert. Kurz warten und dann ging’s auch schon ganz pünktlich um 12:30 rein. Mit Countdown und Spalier von jubelnden Mitarbeitern, wie man es von den Opening Events bei Apple gewohnt ist. Es gab für jeden eine kleine Welcome Box, in der eine Umhängetasche/Einkaufstasche mit dem Wallpaper Design, welches zuletzt veröffentlicht wurde, enthalten war. Ansonsten erstreckt sich der Store über 2 Stockwerke. Oben hat man dann eine Art großen Balkon, wo auch die "Today at Apple" Events abgehalten werden. Im EG gibt es eine separate Pickup-Area für Vorbestellungen. In Summe ein wirklich großer Apple Store im gewohnten Design.
