Storyboards und Magic Movie: Apple veröffentlicht iMovie für iOS 3.0

Auch wenn es auf dem Frühjahrs-Event vor dem Hintergrund der Vorstellung von iPhone SE, iPad Air und Co. ein wenig untergegangen ist, hatte Apple dort auch noch ein größeres Updates für iMovie angekündigt, welches nun am gestrigen Abend veröffentlicht wurde. Mit an Bord sind vor allem zwei spannende neue Funktionen namens "Magic Movie" und "Storyboards". Erstere erlaubt es dem Nutzer dank künstlicher Intelligenz und Maschinenlernen, beeindruckende Videos mit lediglich ein paar Klicks zu erstellen. Hierzu wählt "Magic Movie" die besten Passagen des Rohmaterials aus, schneidet diese automatisch zusammen und hinterlegt sie auf Wunsch auch noch mit dem passenden Soundtrack. Insgesamt stehen dem Nutzer 20 verschiedene Styles zur Verfügung und selbstverständlich kann man auch selbst noch hinsichtlich der Auswahl der Passagen eingreifen.

"Storyboards" hingegen gestatten es dem Nutzer, vorgefertigte Video-Einstellungen zu nutzen, um einen schnellen Einstieg in die Videobearbeitung zu bekommen. Auch hier stehen 20 verschiedene Storyboards in unterschiedlichen Kategorien, wie Kochen oder Produktbeschreibungen zur Verfügung.   • Wähle aus 20 Storyboards für beliebte Videoprojekte wie Kochen, DIY (Anleitungen), F&A (Fragen & Antworten), Produktbewertungen und Buchbesprechungen.
  • Passe dein Storyboard an, verwalte deine Videos, indem du Aufnahmen hinzufügst und sie in der flexiblen Aufnahmenliste neu anordnest und gruppierst.
  • Erlerne mit den Aufnahmetipps in den jeweiligen Storyboards verschiedene Arten der Aufnahmegestaltung sowie Erzähltechniken.
  • Nimm Videos direkt für den jeweiligen Platzhalterclip des Storyboards auf oder füge Medien aus deiner Fotomediathek hinzu.
  • Optimiere dein Magic Movie- oder Storyboard-Video mit 20 dynamischen Stilen, die Titellayouts, Schriften, Filter, Farbpaletten und Musik enthalten.
  • Fahre fort, indem du Clips mit Werkzeugen zum Kürzen, Teilen und für das Cliptempo bearbeitest.
  • Ändere Titel, nimm Voiceover-Erzählungen auf oder passe den Schärfentiefeneffekt bei Videoclips im Kinomodus* an, um deine Videos weiter zu individualisieren.
  • Importiere Magic Movie- und Storyboard-Projekte in eine Timeline für iMovie für Mac oder Final Cut Pro**, um dein Projekt voranzutreiben.
  • Sichere Magic Movie- und Storyboard-Videos in deiner Fotomediathek, sende sie mit „Nachrichten“ oder Mail an Freund:innen oder die Familie oder teile sie mit deinen Follower:innen auf Social-Media.

Auch iMovie für macOS wurde gestern Abend mit der Unterstützung für den Import von "Magic Movie" und "Storyboard" Projekte aktualisiert. Zudem stehen dort auch Updates für die Pro-Tools Final Cut Pro, Compressor und Motionzur Verfügung. Diese enthalten vorrangig Optimierungen für eine bessere Leistung auf dem Mac Studio. Selbstverständlich kann man auch mit der aktuellsten Version von Final Cut Pro "Magic Movie" und "Storyboard" Projekte importieren, die mit iMovie erstellt wurden.

Wie auch, er hat nie durch Trial and Error gelernt, was das Ziel eines guten Films ist. (Und diese Ziele können unterschiedlich sein.)

iMovie war sehr einfach und sehr beschränkt, um die Anfänger nicht zu verwirren und ihnen ein gutes Werkzeug in die Hand zu geben.
Ich halte es deshalb für eine schlechte Idee, welche den Einheitsbrei fokussiert. Meiner Meinung nach muss man nicht bei allem den intellektuellen Bodensatz berücksichtigen.
Man kann Menschen auch ein bisschen fordern.

Nebenbei, wie hat die KI denn gelernt, was die besten Szenen sein könnten? Macht euch immer bewusst, dass Menschen dem Computer das Lernmaterial zur Verfügung stellen.
