"The fight to protect privacy is not an easy one, but it is one of the most essential battles of our time. We at Apple are proud to stand alongside all those who are working to advance privacy rights around the world. As a company, we are profoundly inspired by what technology can make possible, but we know too that technology is neither inherently good, nor inherently bad. It is what we make of it. It is a mirror that reflects the ambitions of the people who use it, the people who build it, and the people who regulate it."

"Here in Washington and elsewhere, policymakers are taking steps in the name of competition that would force Apple to let apps onto iPhone that circumvent the App Store through a process called sideloading. That means data-hungry companies would be able to avoid our privacy rules and once again track our users against their will. It would also potentially give bad actors a way around the comprehensive security protections we have put in place, putting them in direct contact with our users. If we are forced to let unvetted apps onto iPhone, the unintended consequences will be profound," warned Cook. "And when we see that, we feel an obligation to speak up and to ask policymakers to work with us to advance goals that I truly believe we share, without undermining privacy in the process."

Following the duties/responsibilities resume template, will ensure that your resume lines a garbage can! Employers no longer care what you were supposed to do at previous positions. Instead, they must be shown what actual contributions you have made.

In today's job market, companies do not pay attention to every one of the 400 or more resumes submitted - per job opening! The fact is, they'll immediately throw out 90 of them, if any resume fails to seize the reader's interest.

Woah! I’m really enjoying the template/theme of this site. It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s challenging to get that “perfect balance” between user friendliness and visual appeal. I must say you’ve done a fantastic job with this. Also, the blog loads super quick for me on Opera. Exceptional Blog!|

Current companies don't look at every one of the four hundred or more resumes received - for every job opening! Rather, they'll gladly toss aside ninety-five percent of them, if that resume fails to seize their attention.

If you're trying to get employment, first impressions are everything! And the best first impression employers see of you - is a professional cover letter.

In the previous century, job searchers were lectured that each resume must have a group of point-form duties and responsibilities underneath every occupation we have ever been hired for - and the bigger the list the better. Not now! Nowdays, hiring decision-makers will only spend a few seconds (or less) when initially evaluating your resume. Don't use the duties/responsibilities resume approach!

In the previous century, we were taught that each resume should include a collection of point-form duties and responsibilities for every job we've ever occupied - and the greater the volume the better. Not now! Nowdays, organizations will only take fifteen seconds (or less) when reviewing your resume. Do not choose the duties and responsibilities resume template!

You should guarantee that your cover letter pulls in your prospective company, verifies your suitability for the job, plus convinces them to review the resume so they can choose you for the interview. Due to the excessive amount of resumes received for every employment offer in today's market, your cover letter frequently becomes the top distinguishing factor leading to if you get an interview - or get dumped into the garbage!

It used to be, all resumes began by presenting an Objective Statement - but not any more! Nowadays, career experts all state clearly, these types of resume sections contribute nothing when evaluating your job qualifications. And so, be certain to not use an Objective Statement!

Today's companies don't read each of the 400 or higher resumes submitted - for a single employment opening! In actual fact, they will quickly throw out ninety percent of them, if the resume does nothing to hold the reader's interest.

Many years ago, we were told that each resume must include a group of bullet-point duties and responsibilities for every occupation we have ever done - and the larger the amount the better. No longer! Currently, hiring decision-makers will only allow fifteen seconds (maybe even less) when reviewing your resume. Don't use the Duties-and-Responsibilities resume format!
