Das war es nun also, das letzte Fury-Konzert ever. Seit ungefähr 15 Jahren begleitet mich die Musik dieser kleinen aber feinen Kapelle aus Hannover nun schon. Am 30. August 2008 endete nun nach 20-jährigem Bestehen die Ära Fury in the Slaughterhouse auf der Gilde Park-Bühe in Hannover. Nachdem Gregory Darling und (endlich auch wieder) Terry Hoax schon kräftig eingeheizt hatten, ging es dann gegen halb neun für drei Stunden so richtig los. Zum Abschied gab es noch einmal alles, was man aus den 20 Fury-osen Jahren für immer in Erinnerung behalten wird: Radio Orchid, Time to wonder, Dead and gone, Haunted head and heart, Kick it out, ... Ich könnte prinzipiell die gesamte Playlist aufzählen. Noch ein letztes Mal gaben die Jungs um die Wingenfelder-Brüder wirklich alles. Und so wurde mein 10. Fury-Konzert wohl auch das emotionalste. Viel mehr bleibt daher auch nicht zu sagen als danke, Jungs, für 15 Jahre Rock'n Roll! Won't forget these days...
