G-G-G iPhone-Gerüchte: Günstiger, Goldener, Größer

Drei Gerüchte machten im Laufe des heutigen Tages die Runde, deren Wahrheitsgehalt meiner Meinung nach zumindest zweifelhaft ist. Den Beginn machte Reuters, wo man neue Gerüchte zum später in diesem Jahr erwarteten günstigen iPhone in Umlauf bringt. Den Informationen der Nachrichtenagentur zufolge soll das Gerät unsubventioniert lediglich $ 99,- kosten und in fünf bis sechs Farben auf den Markt kommen. Während zumindest der erwartete Verkaufsstart in der zweiten Jahreshälfte, die verschiedenen Farben und die Verwendung von Kunststoff für das Gehäuse inzwischen allgemein erwartet werden, klingt ein Preis von $ 99,- mehr als unwahrscheinlich. Apple hat hierzu in der Vergangenheit mehrfach betont, dass man überhaupt nicht weiß, wie man ein Gerät zu einem solchen Preis bauen kann, welches nicht kompletter Schrott ist. Zum Vergleich: Selbst der günstigste iPod touch (ohne Kamera auf der Rückseite) kostet bereits $ 229,-, auch wenn dieser nach wie vor ein Metallgehäuse besitzt.

In Sachen iPhone 5S wiederholt Reuters mehr oder weniger die bereits kursierenden Gerüchte, wonach dieses ebenfalls in der zweiten Jahreshälfte zu erwarten ist und dann mit einem Fingerabdrucksensor aufwarten kann. Hier grätscht allerdings Macotakara von hinten in die Beine und rollt das in der Vergangenheit hier und da aufgekommene Gerücht auf, wonach das iPhone 5S in einer weiteren Farbe zusätzlich zu schwarz und weiß auf den Markt kommen soll, nämlich in gold. Basis des Gerücht sind Bauteile, die einen gold-/bronze-farbenen Farbton aufweisen. Interessanterweise existieren aktuell lediglich silberne und die angesprochenen gold-/bronze-farbenen Bauteile, was BGR zu der Annahme verleitet, dass Apple eventuell sogar das schwarze Modell einstellen könnte. Auch wenn man diverse Kratzer-Probleme bei der schwarzen Farbvariante hatte, kann ich mir nicht vorstellen, dass Apple diesen Schritt geht und stattdessen ein goldenes Modell auf den Markt bringt.

Doch Reuters geht noch einen Schritt weiter. Zusätzlich zu dem $ 99,- iPhone-Gerücht soll Apple angeblich auch an neuen iPhones, iPad micros oder iPhablets mit einer Displaydiagonalen von 4,7" und 5,7" arbeiten. Diese Informationen sollen aus Quellen in der asiatischen Zuliefererkette von Apple stammen. Grund soll vor allem der Erfolg sein, den Samsung mit Geräten dieser Größe feiert. Auch diese Gerüchte sind aus meiner Sicht mindestens zweifelhaft. Vor allem, wenn man sich noch einmal die jüngsten Aussagen von Tim Cook zum Thema Displays in Erinnerung ruft:

I don’t want to say whatwhe will do or won’t do. The way companies compete is with two things, specs and price. In the camera business people say, "I have the most megapixels". Do you know the speed of an AX processor? Does it really matter at the end of the day? You want a fabulous experience when you use the product. If you look at displays, some people are focused on size. There are a few other things about the display that are important. Some people use OLED displays, but the colour saturation is awful. If you buy things online, you should think twice before you depend on the colour of the OLED dislay. The Retina display is twice as bright as an OLED display. I only bring these points up to say there are many attributes of a display. Apple sweats every detail. We want the best display. I think we’ve got it. I’m not going to comment on what we’re going to do in the future. That’s the only religion that we have, is that we must do something great. We want to enrich people’s lives. We sweat the details on those.

99 Euro bzw. Dollar ist der Aufpreis zu einem 2 Jahresvertrag in den USA .
Das Handy wird dann ohne Vertrag zwischen 300-350 Euro/ Dollar preislich liegen.

Das Problem für Apple ist, dass sich in Asien und Afrika kaum jemand ein Handy für 600 Dollar und mehr leisten kann, es aber andererseits dort für 200 Dollar sehr gute chinesische Smartphones gibt.

Diese Gerüchte passen so gar nicht zu Jobs Ansichten von einem aufgeräumten Produktangebot, soweit ich mich da erinnere. Aber gut, der Markt ist ja definitiv da, also warum eigentlich nicht.
Mir persönlich reicht ja die Größe meines iPhone 4 und mit dem 5er ist für mich auch das Maximum erreicht. Aber ist nur meine Meinung. Ebenso wie die Tatsache, dass ich schwarze iDevices deutlich bevorzuge.
Ich mag mich täuschen, aber ich sehe deutlich mehr schwarze iPhones als weiße. Also wohl keine gute Idee, gerade diese Farbe zu streichen. Und mal ernsthaft - Gold?! Hoffentlich bleibt es da beim Gerücht.

Apple sollte das iPhone 5s und das billig Iphone in Pink und Marvel's Edition rausbringen. Da wir ja wissen, dass schon viele Kinder mit nem iPhone rumlaufen, würde natürlich das Iphone perfekt zu den ganzen kleinen und großen Prinzessinnen passen. Und die Marvel's Edition natürlich zu den kleinen und großen Helden. Mit den kleinen würde sich Apple durch den Verkauf von Apps Kunden für die Zukunft sichern.
