Günstiges iPhone wird wohl gar nicht so günstig

Inzwischen gehen so gut wie alle Beobachter davon aus, dass Apple im Herbst gemeinsam mit dem iPhone 5S auch eine günstige Variante seines Smartphones im Kunststoffgehäuse präsentieren wird. Inzwischen geht es schon eher um die Frage, welche technischen Spezifikationen das Gerät besitzen wird und was eigentlich unter dem Begriff "günstig" zu verstehen ist. Unter Umständen wird das günstige iPhone nämlich gar nicht mal so günstig. Dies gab nämlich T.H. Tung, seineszeichens CEO von Apples Fertigungspartner Pegatron, jetzt bei einem Shareholder-Meeting seines Unternehmens zu Protokoll. Der Preis des Geräts soll immer noch vergleichweise hoch sein, so dass es weniger mit den günstigeren Android-Geräten konkurrieren, sondern sich laut China Times (via Macotakara) eher im oberen Bereich der Mittelklasse bewegen soll. Pegatron soll sich Gerüchten zufolge die Produktion des (nicht ganz so) günstigen iPhone mit Apples Haus und Hof Lieferanten Foxconn teilen und zu diesem Zweck 40.000 neue Arbeiter eingestellt haben.

Das iPhone4 wird auf jeden Fall aus dem Sortiment genommen im Herbst. Schlueßlich ist es dann über 3 Jahre alt und bekommt nur einige wenige Features aus iOS7 spendiert, da die Hardware einfach zu alt ist.
Das iPhone4 gibt es bei Apple für 399 Euro. Genau diesen Preis erwarte ich auch für das günstigere neue iPhone.
Die Frage wäre, ib das iPhone 4S ebenfalls aus dem Sortiment genommen wird. Schließlich hat Apple auch schon den iPod Touch mit kleinerem Bildschirm vom Markt genommen. Ich kann mir nicht vorstellen, dass sie das iPhone 4S mit altem Seitenverhältnis nich auf dem Markt lassen...

War auch mein erster Gedanke. Genau wegen des (gestiegenen) Preises fürs 5er (und anderer notwendiger Neuanschaffungen) habe ich letztes Jahr noch drauf verzichtet und werd dann erst beim 5S zuschlagen.

Der ist in meinen Augen eh totaler Käse. Da haben wir ein iPhone was nicht telefonieren kann aber sau teuer ist und in der Basisvariante mit 16gb als "MP3 Player" viel zu wenig Speicherplatz bietet wenn man sich überlegt den noch mit Spielen zu füttern
