Neue Retina MacBook Pros heute verfügbar, neuer Mac Pro ab Dezember

Auf der WWDC hat Apple das lange überfällige und von vielen professionellen Anwendern sehnslichst erwartete Update für den Mac Pro präsentiert. Dabei ist man ziemlich radikale Wege gegangen und hat das Gerät vollkommen neu designt. Heraus gekommen ist ein rundes Gehäuse, welches nur noch einen Bruchteil der Masse des alten Mac Pro mitbringt. Im Inneren ist er jedoch weiterhin Apples absolutes Power-House und es kommt alles zum Einsatz, was der Technikmarkt derzeit zu bieten hat, unter anderem ein 12-core Intel Xeon 256-Bit Prozessor, ECC Speicher, 1,866MHz DDR3 Speicher, 60 GBps Leistung. Von der Lautstärke her läuft der Mac Pro ebenso leise wie der Mac mini. Das Warten für alle Profis dürfte sich gelohnt haben. Der neue Mac Pro wird im Dezember auf den Markt kommen und dann im günstigten Fall $ 2.999,- kosten.

Auch neue Generationen des Retina MacBook Pro wurden heute vorgestellt. Das 13"-Modell bekommt einen Intel Haswell-Chip, 802.11ac WLAN und Thunderbolt 2. Dabei hat es Apple geschafft das Gerät noch dünner und leichter zu machen. Zudem fällt es im Preis um $ 100,- für die Einstiegsversion. Das 15"-Modell läuft mit einem neuen Intel Crystalwell-Chip und bekommt ebenfalls 802.11ac WLAN und Thunderbolt 2. Das Einstiegsmodell fällt im Preis um $ 200,- gegenüber dem Vorgänger. Die Akkulaufzeit soll bei beiden Geräten dank neuer Chips und OS X Mavericks auf bis zu neun Stunden ansteigen. Beide neue Modelle sind noch heute im Apple Store verfügbar.

"Intel Xeon 256-Bit Prozessor" ... NEIN ... die 256 Bit beziehen sich nur auf die SSE-Register ... die gesamte Architektur bleibt weiterhin 64 Bit!

Schade. Was tun? Den jetzigen kaufen, oder kommt ein stilles update? Oder läuft er aus?

Es gab ja Grüchte, dass er evtl. durch einen günstigen iMac ersetzt wird.

Wenn du Ihn nicht unbedingt brauchst, würd ich warten oder etwas günstiger einen auf Ebay schießen.
