Gadget-Watch: Philips Hue Starter-Kit aktuell zum Sonderpreis bei Amazon

Manch einer hat es bereits bemerkt, im Bereich Smart-Home bin ich großer Fan der Hue-Beleuchtungsserie von Philips. Anlässlich der gerade stattfindenden IFA haben die Niederländer nun eine neue Version seiner LED-Lichtstreifen LightStrips Plus vorgestellt, mit der sich das heimische Hue-System erweitern lässt. Die neuen LightStrips strahlen mit 1.600 Lumen deutlich heller als die Vorgänger (120 Lumen) und können nun auch verschiedene Weißlicht-Töne erzeugen, die sich zwischen 2.000 und 6.500 Kelvin und damit zwischen warmem und tageslichtähnlichem Licht bewegen. Zudem lassen sich die Hue-Lichtstreifen in der neuen Version nun auf bis zu 10 Meter zu verlegen. Verfügbar sein sollen die neuen LightStrips bereits ab der kommenden Woche. Die Basis-Version kostet dann bei einer Länge von 2 Metern € 80,-, die jeweils einen Meter langen Verlängerungsstücke lassen sich für € 25,- hinzu erwerben. Auch die neuen LightStrips können selbstverständlich über die Hue-App (kostenlos im AppStore) vom iPhone oder iPad aus gesteuert werden.

Nun aber zum eigentlichen Kern der Überschrift dieses Artikels. Zum Betreiben des Hue-Systems benötigt man selbstverständlich eine entsprechende WLAN-Bridge. Diese gibt es im Rahmen des Hue Starter-Kits aktuell deutlich reduziert bei Amazon erwerben. Dabei spart man für kurze Zeit knapp € 31,-. Selbstverständlich ist das Starter-Kit auch mit den neuen LightStrips kompatibel.
