Es geht weiter mit den Angeboten digitaler Dienste im Vorfeld des Black Friday. Nachdem Amazon aktuell bereits ein 4-Monats-Abo für einmalig 99 Cent für seinen Musik-Streamingdienst Amazon Music Unlimited gestartet hat und seine Lese-Flat Kindle Unlimited gar für einen Zeitruam von drei Monate komplett kostenlos statt der normal veranschlagten € 9,99 im Monat anbitet, zieht nun auch der Hörbuch-Anbieter Audible nach und hat seine Aktion "Ein halbes Jahr zum halben Preis" gestartet. Für den Fall, dass man bisher noch kein Audible-Abonnement besitzt oder in der Vergangenheit besaß, kann man den Dienst hierüber ein halbes Jahr lang zum Preis von monatlich € 4,95 statt der normal veranschlagten € 9,95 nutzen. Kündigt man nicht vor Ablauf des Aktionszeitraums, wird das Abo automatisch in ein reguläres Abonnement umgewandelt.

Der Audible-Katalog umfasst inzwischen über 250.000 Hörbücher und exklusive Podcasts, auf die unter anderem auch von den iOS-Geräten über die frisch aktualisierte Audible-App zugegriffen werden kann.
